- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to promote positive employee relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on labor and employment matters, including employee performance, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances and make recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and HR leadership to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain and update employee relations policies and procedures, ensuring they are in line with industry best practices and legal requirements.
- Facilitate training and workshops for employees and managers on topics such as diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and effective communication.
- Monitor labor and employment trends and proactively identify potential issues that may impact the organization.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain relationships with external labor organizations and government agencies.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefits, compensation, and other HR-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and promote a positive work culture.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in labor laws and regulations and make recommendations for policy and procedure updates as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation related to employee relations matters.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.
- Represent the company in unemployment hearings and other legal proceedings related to labor and employment matters.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Labor And Employee Relations, Preferably In A Large Organization Or In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Labor Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships And Handle Sensitive Employee Issues.
Demonstrated Experience In Conducting Investigations, Managing Grievances, And Negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements.
