Job Description

As the Director of Research Project Management at Bristol-Myers Squibb, you will play a pivotal role in the advancement of our innovative pharmaceutical research projects. You will lead a team of talented project managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects from ideation to commercialization. We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a strong background in project management and a proven track record of delivering results within the pharmaceutical industry.   1. Develop and implement project management strategies and processes to effectively manage and track progress of research projects.
  2. Lead a team of project managers and provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful execution of projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial to establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  4. Monitor project milestones and proactively identify and address any potential roadblocks or delays to ensure timely completion of projects.
  5. Conduct regular project team meetings and provide status updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Manage project budgets and resources to ensure efficient utilization and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management team to promote a high-performing and motivated work environment.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in project management to identify opportunities for process improvements and incorporate them into project management strategies.
  10. Represent the company at conferences and industry events to build relationships and stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Pharmacology.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Project Management Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.

  • Demonstrated Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Complex Research Projects From Conception To Completion.

  • Strong Understanding Of Drug Discovery And Development Processes, Including Regulatory Requirements And Industry Trends.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
