Job Description

Coordinate with department staff to create publicity and promote History Department internships to students through multiple means of advertising, presentations, social media, website, fairs, etc. Meet with students individually and in groups to respond to internship inquiries and advise them about opportunities, positions, and the application process. Present information and lead discussions about internship opportunities in classes and other campus meetings. Direct students to campus resources for academic and professional development. Help students prepare for and manage internship experiences. Coordinate student reporting and internship provider evaluations. Attend university internship meetings and coordinate department guidelines with college and university directives. Maintain up-to-date information about internship opportunities, applications, and contact information, etc
