Metal Mechanic

Perform general housekeeping and all assigned duties on a jobsite, as directed by supervision. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite free from any unnecessary hazards associated with the work being performed by an insulation crew. During insulation removal, keep the work area clean and properly dispose of removed insulation and metal. Prepare surfaces for the installation of insulation by the use of hand and power tools. Organize and maintain insulation materials at the work location and in a stock inventory area; Perform all installation and removal of metal insulation covers. Secure insulation with banding, wire, straps etc. in accordance with requirements. Perform all installation and removal of insulation and effectively communicate with crew members and supervision.
