  1. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all BP employees, assets, and operations.
  2. Oversee and lead various security projects, including risk assessments, security audits, and emergency preparedness plans.
  3. Identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all workplace processes and procedures.
  5. Manage and maintain relationships with external security agencies and vendors.
  6. Conduct regular security training and awareness programs for employees.
  7. Monitor and analyze security metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in workplace security and make recommendations for implementation.
  9. Develop and manage security budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  10. Lead crisis management and response efforts in the event of a security incident.
  11. Communicate and liaise with stakeholders at all levels to ensure a secure and safe work environment.
  12. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive security information.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to workplace security.
  14. Provide regular reports and updates on security projects and initiatives to senior management.
  15. Foster a culture of security awareness and promote a safe and secure work environment for all employees.
