  1. Manage tax and payroll processes - Responsible for overseeing all tax and payroll activities within the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Conduct tax and payroll analysis - Utilize expertise in tax and payroll to analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate tax and payroll filings - Responsible for preparing and submitting tax and payroll reports, ensuring all deadlines are met and information is accurate.
  4. Stay up-to-date on tax and payroll regulations - Keep abreast of changes in tax and payroll laws and regulations, and ensure the organization is compliant with all relevant requirements.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams - Work closely with cross-functional teams such as finance, accounting, and HR to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely tax and payroll processes.
  6. Provide support to external auditors - Serve as a point of contact for external auditors during tax and payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements - Continuously review tax and payroll processes and procedures, and recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  8. Maintain accurate records - Ensure all tax and payroll records are organized, complete, and easily accessible for audits and reporting purposes.
  9. Communicate with stakeholders - Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, such as managers and employees, to provide updates on tax and payroll processes and address any questions or concerns.
  10. Uphold confidentiality - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to tax and payroll, following all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Tax Laws: A Candidate For A Tax & Payroll Specialist Position At Bp Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws, Including But Not Limited To Income Tax, Payroll Tax, And Sales Tax.

  • Experience With Payroll Systems: Bp Requires Candidates To Have Experience Using Payroll Software And Systems, Such As Adp Or Workday, To Process Payroll For A Large Number Of Employees.

  • Attention To Detail: The Tax & Payroll Specialist Role At Bp Involves Handling Sensitive And Important Financial Data. As Such, Candidates Must Demonstrate A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy In Their Work.
