Senior SOX Auditor

1. Conduct audits of BP's internal controls to evaluate their effectiveness and identify any potential areas of risk or non-compliance with SOX regulations.
2. Review and test financial documents, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with SOX requirements.
3. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvements.
4. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and collaborate with them to develop action plans for addressing any identified issues.
5. Stay up-to-date on changes in SOX regulations and incorporate them into audit processes and procedures.
6. Lead and supervise a team of auditors, providing guidance, mentoring, and training as needed.
7. Work closely with other departments, including finance, legal, and IT, to coordinate and execute audits in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Communicate effectively with external auditors and regulators to provide necessary information and support for their reviews.
9. Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
10. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to risk management and internal controls as needed.
