  1. Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment processing.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  3. Manage a team of accounts payable professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  4. Review and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance, to streamline processes and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  6. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  7. Monitor and maintain vendor relationships, negotiating terms and resolving any payment or billing concerns.
  8. Review and approve all outgoing payments, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  9. Conduct regular audits of the accounts payable process to identify and mitigate any potential risks or errors.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to accounts payable and make necessary adjustments to processes and procedures.
  11. Prepare and present reports to senior management on accounts payable performance, including key metrics and analysis.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert for accounts payable, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  13. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the accounts payable team, promoting continuous learning and development opportunities.
  14. Participate in company-wide initiatives and projects related to financial operations, providing input and expertise from an accounts payable perspective.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards, in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Accounts Payable: A Senior Manager At Bp Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Accounts Payable Processes, Preferably In A Large Organization.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Accounts Payable Professionals. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing And Developing A Team.
