As a PSI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Pressure Safety Instrumented Systems (PSIS) across our facilities.   1. Design and implement Pressure Safety Instrumented Systems (PSIS) across BP facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and documents related to PSIS.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze potential safety risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections of PSIS to ensure proper functioning and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with PSIS, providing timely and efficient solutions.
  6. Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices in PSIS design and maintenance.
  7. Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders on PSIS.
  8. Work closely with project managers to ensure PSIS requirements are met in all new projects.
  9. Participate in safety drills and emergency response exercises to test the effectiveness of PSIS.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all PSIS activities and ensure they are in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  11. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of PSIS, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide safety policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure proper installation and maintenance of PSIS.
  14. Participate in incident investigations related to PSIS and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
  15. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Petroleum, Chemical, Or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Oil And Gas Industry, With A Focus On Production Systems And Equipment

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Api And Iso

  • Experience With Design And Implementation Of Process Safety Information (Psi) Systems And Procedures

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Analyze Complex Data And Make Informed Decisions For Optimizing Production Processes
