- Develop and implement risk management strategies and procedures for the procurement function
- Monitor and assess potential risks associated with sourcing and contracting activities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the procurement process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement risk and compliance activities
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate procurement team members on risk and compliance requirements
- Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations to proactively address potential risks
- Communicate and collaborate with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and regulatory agencies, to ensure compliance and address any issues that may arise
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on risk and compliance metrics to senior management
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance risk management and compliance efforts
- Lead and mentor a team of risk and compliance professionals within the procurement function
- Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement risk and compliance matters for the organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Procurement, Risk Management, Or Compliance.
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes And Supply Chain Operations.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies.
Knowledge Of Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Procurement And Compliance, Such As Anti-Corruption Laws And Data Privacy Regulations.
