- Develop and implement procurement strategy for the Customer/Retail Technology category in line with BP's overall business goals and objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that provide the best value for BP while ensuring quality, reliability, and sustainability.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to drive cost savings and achieve optimal terms and conditions.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, innovations, and market changes related to customer and retail technology.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and ensure alignment with procurement strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the category, including process improvements, supplier consolidation, and risk management.
- Prepare and present reports on category performance and savings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with BP's procurement policies and procedures, as well as any relevant laws and regulations.
- Mentor and support junior procurement team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing to help develop their skills and expertise.
- Represent BP at industry events and conferences to stay informed on best practices and network with potential suppliers.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Category Management, Preferably In The Retail Or Technology Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Customer/Retail Technology Products And Trends.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Procurement Strategies For Large-Scale Projects.
