- Identify and assess exploration risks and uncertainties associated with potential reservoirs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate geological findings and recommendations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior geologists and other team members.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of new exploration opportunities and make recommendations for investment decisions.
- Monitor and analyze production data to assess reservoir performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while conducting geological fieldwork and data analysis.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to communicate geological findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure proper integration and alignment of geological interpretations with overall business goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to petroleum systems geology.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new technologies and workflows to streamline and improve geological interpretation processes.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to stay informed about the latest advancements and network with other professionals in the field.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Geology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Petroleum Systems Analysis.
Proficiency In Industry-Standard Software Such As Petrel And Kingdom.
Extensive Knowledge Of Geological And Geophysical Interpretation Techniques.
Strong Understanding Of Drilling And Production Operations, Including Well Log Analysis And Reservoir Characterization.
