Job Description

As an OCT Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our offshore TSI equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of our drilling and production activities.   1. Maintain and optimize offshore TSI equipment to ensure safe and efficient drilling and production operations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on TSI equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with TSI equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operations.
  4. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement improvement initiatives for TSI equipment.
  5. Monitor performance data and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
  6. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to TSI equipment.
  7. Participate in planning and execution of offshore operations, providing technical expertise and support.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in TSI technology.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on TSI equipment maintenance and operations.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and management to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to TSI equipment maintenance and performance.
  12. Take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion.
  13. Adhere to all company standards and procedures, including ethical and professional conduct.
  14. Continuously strive for personal and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Field: A Oct Engineer - Tsi At Bp Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Mechanical, Chemical, Or Electrical Engineering. This Provides A Foundation Of Technical Knowledge And Problem-Solving Skills Necessary For The Role.

  • Experience In Oct Technology: Bp Requires Its Oct Engineers To Have Prior Experience Working With Oct Technology. This Could Include Experience In Designing, Operating, Or Maintaining Oct Equipment, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of The Principles And Applications Of Oct Technology.

  • Knowledge Of Oil And Gas Industry: A Oct Engineer - Tsi At Bp Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Oil And Gas Industry, Including The Various Processes And Operations Involved In Upstream, Midstream, And Downstream Activities. This Knowledge Is Essential For Effectively Applying Oct Technology To Support Bp's Operations.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Oct Engineers Are Responsible For Analyzing Large Amounts Of Data And Identifying Potential Issues Or Opportunities For Improvement. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
