  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive process safety program for all BP facilities and operations.
  2. Conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  3. Lead and guide a team of process safety engineers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process safety improvements and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs on process safety principles and best practices for all employees.
  6. Monitor and analyze process safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to process safety and implement necessary changes.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in regulatory inspections and audits.
  9. Investigate and report process safety incidents and provide recommendations for prevention of future incidents.
  10. Communicate process safety performance and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders.
  11. Manage process safety budget and resources effectively.
  12. Foster a culture of safety by promoting and encouraging safe behaviors and practices among all employees.
  13. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures to ensure prompt and effective response to potential incidents.
  14. Serve as a subject matter expert on process safety matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  15. Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In Process Safety Within The Oil And Gas Industry

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Relevant Process Safety Regulations And Standards, Such As Osha, Api, And Nfpa

  • Experience Leading And Managing A Team Of Process Safety Engineers

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing And Improving Process Safety Programs And Initiatives.
