- Develop and implement a knowledge management strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of BP.
- Lead and manage a team of knowledge management professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge management needs and develop solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry best practices and implementing them within the organization.
- Monitor and analyze knowledge management metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop training programs and resources to educate employees on knowledge management principles and tools.
- Manage the implementation of knowledge management systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources.
- Champion a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization.
- Identify and address any knowledge management gaps or barriers hindering the organization's success.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to knowledge management.
- Regularly communicate updates and progress on knowledge management initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert on knowledge management and provide guidance and support to employees at all levels.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve knowledge management processes and make recommendations for change.
- Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in knowledge management and make recommendations for their implementation.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Information Science, Library Science, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Knowledge Management, Preferably In The Energy Industry.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Knowledge Management Strategies And Systems.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Knowledge Management Professionals.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
