  1. Develop and implement a knowledge management strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives of BP.
  2. Lead and manage a team of knowledge management professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge management needs and develop solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Drive continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry best practices and implementing them within the organization.
  5. Monitor and analyze knowledge management metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Develop training programs and resources to educate employees on knowledge management principles and tools.
  7. Manage the implementation of knowledge management systems and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources.
  9. Champion a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization.
  10. Identify and address any knowledge management gaps or barriers hindering the organization's success.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to knowledge management.
  12. Regularly communicate updates and progress on knowledge management initiatives to leadership and stakeholders.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on knowledge management and provide guidance and support to employees at all levels.
  14. Proactively identify opportunities to improve knowledge management processes and make recommendations for change.
  15. Stay informed of emerging trends and technologies in knowledge management and make recommendations for their implementation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Information Science, Library Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Knowledge Management, Preferably In The Energy Industry.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Knowledge Management Strategies And Systems.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Knowledge Management Professionals.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
