  1. Develop and design innovative electric vehicle (EV) designs that align with BP's mission to transition to a low-carbon future.
  2. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in EV technology.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and financial requirements.
  4. Utilize engineering principles and tools to optimize EV design performance, efficiency, and safety.
  5. Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  6. Lead and participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  7. Perform testing and analysis to validate design performance and troubleshoot any issues.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for safety, emissions, and quality.
  9. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in the design process.
  10. Continuously seek out opportunities for improvement and innovation in EV design.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to source necessary components and materials.
  12. Train and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  13. Represent BP at industry events and conferences, showcasing our EV designs and expertise.
  14. Maintain a strong understanding of BP's sustainability goals and incorporate them into EV design strategies.
  15. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Electric Vehicle Design, Preferably In The Automotive Industry

  • Proficiency In Cad Software (Such As Catia Or Solidworks) And Other Design Tools

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ev Battery Technology, Powertrain Systems, And Charging Infrastructure

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Dynamic Team Environment.
