- Conduct thorough and accurate audits of company financial processes and systems to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or errors found during audits, and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams within the company to gather and analyze financial data and information.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of audit procedures and findings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure company compliance.
- Communicate audit results and recommendations to management and assist in implementing any necessary changes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of internal control policies and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and assist in identifying potential areas of risk for the company.
- Provide support to external auditors during annual audits.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline audit processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Internal Auditing, Preferably In The Gaming Or Hospitality Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Gaap And Internal Control Frameworks (E.g. Coso, Sox).
Professional Certifications Such As Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Or Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Are Preferred.
Excellent Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify Potential Risks And Provide Recommendations For Improvement.
