
Electronics Hardware Design Intern
Assist in the electrical design, simulation and analysis of power electronics circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements. Perform the electrical debug, test, characterization, and verification of power electronics designs. Assist in specifying, identifying, and testing of key, critical electrical components. Support BorgWarner product development team with technical design analysis, trade off studies, and design reviews. Gain understanding of the vehicle system components and functions that interface to the power electronics subsystem. Work with other engineering competencies and suppliers to aid in the development and verification of electronics products.
Graduate student pursing a degree in Power Electronics
Candidate needs to have a strong interest in the automotive and / or power electronics field
Experience in Power Electronics is preferred through one of the following: organizations, research programs, internships
Knowledge of power devices and their application required
Engineering based student design competition experience preferred
