Senior Legal Counsel

Booking.com is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal team.In this position, you will work with senior leadership and other teams within the organization to provide legal advice and guidance on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters. You will be required to think strategically and proactively while managing complex legal issues and providing sound legal advice.To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of 8 years of experience in a corporate legal setting. You should also have a deep knowledge of corporate governance and commercial law. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters.
2. Work with senior leadership and other teams within the organization to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Think strategically and proactively while managing complex legal issues.
4. Research and analyze legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
5. Negotiate agreements and contracts.
6. Ensure corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including policies and contracts.
8. Monitor changes in applicable laws and regulations.
9. Liaise with external counsel and other legal professionals.
10. Maintain accurate records of all legal documents.
