Accountant

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be capable of managing multiple tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and 5+ years of experience in an accounting role. You should have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques, and be proficient in using accounting software. Additionally, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other related documents
2. Record various financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and deposits
3. Analyze financial data and create reports to present to management
4. Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
5. Reconcile bank and credit card statements
6. Review and verify accuracy of financial documents
7. Develop and implement accounting procedures and policies
8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
9. Maintain and update accounting records
10. Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
11. Provide assistance with audits
12. Handle customer inquiries regarding billing and payments
13. Prepare tax returns and other documents as needed
