  1. Develop and maintain training devices: The Training Device Technician will be responsible for the development, installation, and maintenance of training devices used for aerospace training.
  2. Ensure accuracy and realism: The technician will be responsible for ensuring that all training devices are functioning at the highest level of accuracy and realism, in order to provide the most effective training for our employees.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues: The technician will be required to troubleshoot any technical issues that arise with the training devices, and find efficient solutions to ensure minimal disruption to training.
  4. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance: It will be the responsibility of the technician to conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all training devices, to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Training Device Technician will work closely with other departments, including engineering and training, to ensure that all training devices are meeting the needs of the company and its employees.
  6. Stay updated on industry advancements: The technician will be expected to stay updated on the latest advancements in training device technology and make suggestions for improvements to enhance the training experience.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols: Safety is of utmost importance in the aerospace industry, and the technician will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while working with training devices.
  8. Document processes and procedures: The technician will be responsible for documenting all processes and procedures related to the development and maintenance of training devices, in order to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  9. Maintain inventory and order supplies: The technician will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of training device parts and materials, and ordering supplies when necessary to ensure uninterrupted training.
  10. Train and mentor junior technicians: The Training Device Technician may also be responsible for training and mentoring junior technicians, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Aircraft Systems And Components: A Training Device Technician At Boeing Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Aircraft Systems And Components, Including Avionics, Electrical, Mechanical, And Hydraulic Systems.

  • Experience With Troubleshooting And Repair: This Position Requires The Ability To Troubleshoot And Identify Problems With Training Devices, As Well As Perform Repairs And Maintenance As Needed.

  • Familiarity With Training Device Technology: A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Various Types Of Training Devices, Such As Flight Simulators, Cockpit Procedures Trainers, And Virtual Reality Devices.

  • Strong Technical Skills: Training Device Technicians Must Have Strong Technical Skills, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals, Schematics, And Diagrams.
