As a Tool and Die Maker, you will play a critical role in our production process by crafting and maintaining precision tools and dies used in the manufacturing of our aircraft.   1. Design and manufacture precision tools and dies used in the production of aircraft and space vehicles.
  2. Maintain and repair existing tools and dies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  3. Develop and implement efficient and effective machining processes for tool and die production.
  4. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure tools and dies meet design specifications.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery and handling materials.
  7. Keep accurate records of tool and die inventory and maintenance schedules.
  8. Continuously improve and optimize tool and die designs and processes.
  9. Train and mentor junior team members on tool and die production techniques and best practices.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and techniques into tool and die production.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Operating Various Machine Tools, Such As Lathes, Mills, And Grinders, To Produce Precision Components For Aircraft Parts.

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings And Blueprints To Ensure Accurate Dimensions And Specifications Are Met.

  • Familiarity With Cad/Cam Software And Programming To Design And Manufacture Tooling And Fixtures.

  • Strong Understanding Of Metallurgy And Heat Treatment Processes To Select The Appropriate Materials And Perform Heat Treatments For Tool And Die Production.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem Solve In A Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment, While Adhering To Strict Quality Standards And Safety Regulations.
