- Develop and implement supplier diversity strategies and initiatives in alignment with Boeing's overall diversity and inclusion goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses to become suppliers for Boeing.
- Establish and maintain relationships with diverse suppliers and advocate for their inclusion in Boeing's supply chain.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure diverse suppliers are given equal opportunities to bid on contracts.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new supplier diversity opportunities and trends.
- Create and maintain accurate records of diverse suppliers and their performance.
- Monitor and track supplier diversity metrics and provide regular reports to upper management.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on the importance of supplier diversity and how to engage with diverse suppliers.
- Serve as a point of contact for diverse suppliers and assist them with any questions or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on supplier diversity regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other Supplier Diversity Specialists to share best practices and drive consistency across the company.
- Participate in supplier diversity events and conferences to promote Boeing's commitment to diversity and attract potential diverse suppliers.
- Act as a liaison between diverse suppliers and other departments to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in supplier diversity processes and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Uphold Boeing's values of diversity and inclusion and promote a culture of respect and equity for all employees and suppliers.
Bachelor’s Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Diversity, Procurement, Or Supply Chain Management.
Strong Understanding Of Supplier Diversity Best Practices And Regulations, Such As The Small Business Administration's 8(A) Business Development Program And The Department Of Defense's Mentor-Protégé Program.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Supplier Diversity Strategies And Initiatives, Including Tracking And Reporting On Diversity Spend Metrics.
Excellent Communication And Relationship-Building Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders Both Internally And Externally.
