Job Description

Develops reusable test architecture and design solutions for flight software consisting of avionics systems as well as commercial off the shelf components. Develops modular tests and automation software in Python and similar languages for manufacturing and engineering design and requirements verification. Develops robust test software to interact with units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and production systems. Creates and organizes a well-defined, estimated and prioritized set of initiatives, epics and stories to maintain a robust backlog for time-phasing and planning. Participates in daily scrums, using agile practices, to communicate clearly and openly on incremental progress and to inform the team of any help needed on impediments and roadblocks and suggest timely remedies for common ailments during retrospections.

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience developing software using Git for repository revision control and configuration management (CM)

  • 1+ years of experience generating artifacts for verification and validation (V&V) of DOORS requirements

  • 1+ years of experience using software assurance, static and dynamic code coverage tools

  • 1+ years of experience developing software for systems, using any of the Linux operating systems (OS)
