Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Software Engineering Principles And Practices: A Software Quality Engineer At Boeing Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Software Development Lifecycle, Quality Assurance Processes, And Industry Best Practices.

  • Experience With Software Testing And Quality Assurance: Candidates For This Role Should Have Experience In Conducting Various Types Of Software Testing, Including Functional, Regression, And Integration Testing. They Should Also Be Able To Develop And Execute Test Plans And Report Defects Accurately.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: A Software Quality Engineer At Boeing Must Be Well-Versed In Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Do-178B/C For Avionics Software, And Have A Thorough Understanding Of Their Application In The Development And Testing Process.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Mindset: This Role Requires A Meticulous Approach To Identify And Track Defects, As Well As The Ability To Analyze Complex Systems And Identify Potential Quality Issues.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As Part Of A Larger Team, A Software Quality Engineer Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Developers, Project Managers, And Other Stakeholders To Ensure Quality Standards Are Met Throughout The Software Development Process.
