  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and optimization of the supply base.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop strategic sourcing plans.
  4. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to maximize cost savings and mitigate risks.
  5. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  7. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and work with suppliers to develop and implement improvement plans.
  8. Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency in supply chain operations.
  9. Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to track supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Mentor and train junior supply base management specialists to ensure a high-performing and knowledgeable team.
  11. Stay compliant with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
  12. Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain disruptions and risks.
  13. Continuously monitor and analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for optimization and cost savings.
  14. Participate in supplier audits, visits, and reviews to ensure compliance with company standards.
  15. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Base Management Or Procurement, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Supply Chain Processes, Including Supplier Selection, Contract Negotiation, And Supplier Performance Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers, Internal Stakeholders, And Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Experience With Data Analysis And Proficiency In Supply Chain Software And Tools, Such As Sap Or Oracle, To Effectively Manage Supply Base Performance And Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities.
