  1. Conduct research and analysis on the effects of radiation on semiconductor systems, and use this information to develop and implement strategies for ensuring system reliability and effectiveness.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the specific requirements and challenges of various aerospace projects, and propose solutions that meet these needs.
  3. Conduct testing and evaluation of semiconductor systems under simulated radiation conditions, and analyze and interpret the results to identify potential areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain testing protocols and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate evaluation of semiconductor systems.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in semiconductor technology and radiation effects, and incorporate this knowledge into project work.
  6. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to model and predict the behavior of semiconductor systems under different radiation exposure scenarios.
  7. Communicate technical information and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to identify and evaluate new semiconductor materials and technologies that may improve system performance in radiation-prone environments.
  9. Collaborate with other engineers and departments within the company to ensure the successful integration of semiconductor systems into overall aerospace products.
  10. Actively participate in the development and implementation of company-wide quality control and risk management processes related to semiconductor radiation effects.
  11. Mentor and provide technical guidance to more junior team members, and assist in their professional development.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous materials and equipment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Physics With A Focus On Radiation Effects Or Radiation-Hardened Design.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Radiation Effects Testing And Analysis For Semiconductor Devices.

  • Proficiency In Using Radiation Effects Simulation Tools, Such As Spice Or Tcad.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standards And Guidelines For Radiation Effects Testing And Qualification, Such As Mil-Std-883 Or Jedec Jesd57.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Provide Solutions For Radiation Effects Issues In Complex Electronic Systems.
