  • Perform precision assembly of aircraft components according to established procedures and specifications
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed
  • Utilize various hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working with potentially hazardous materials
  • Perform surface finishing techniques such as sanding, polishing, and painting to meet aesthetic and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and problem solve any issues that arise during the assembly process
  • Keep accurate records of work completed and any issues encountered
  • Continuously improve and optimize assembly processes to increase efficiency and quality
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to quality control and production standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience With Precision Assembly Techniques: A Qualified Candidate Should Have Experience With Precision Assembly Techniques, Such As Torqueing, Measuring, And Aligning Parts, In Order To Ensure The Accuracy And Quality Of The Final Product.

  • Knowledge Of Aerospace Materials And Processes: Precision Assemblers And Surface Finish Technicians At Boeing Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Aerospace Materials And Processes, Including Composites, Metals, And Coatings, In Order To Properly Assemble And Finish Aircraft Components.

  • Proficiency With Hand And Power Tools: The Job Involves Using A Variety Of Hand And Power Tools To Perform Tasks Such As Drilling, Sanding, And Grinding. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Comfortable Using These Tools And Have Good Manual Dexterity.

  • Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Drawings: Precision Assembly And Surface Finishing Require Following Detailed Technical Drawings And Specifications. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Read And Interpret These Drawings Accurately And Make Adjustments As Necessary.

  • Attention To Detail And Quality Control: As Precision Is Crucial In The Aerospace Industry, A Candidate For This Job Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And A Strong Commitment To Quality Control.
