- Conduct regular health evaluations and assessments for employees, including physical examinations, health risk assessments, and medical surveillance.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential occupational health hazards.
- Provide medical expertise and guidance to management and employees on health and safety matters.
- Manage and maintain accurate medical records and reports for all employees.
- Educate and train employees on occupational health and safety best practices.
- Monitor and track employee illness and injury data, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in occupational health.
- Coordinate and oversee employee health and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure proper and timely medical care for employees.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding health and safety concerns.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide medical expertise and recommendations.
- Network and build relationships with local healthcare providers and organizations to enhance occupational health services and resources.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
- Continuously evaluate and improve occupational health processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Medical Degree: A Candidate For An Occupational Health Physician Position At Boeing Should Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Will Provide The Necessary Medical Knowledge And Skills To Assess And Manage Employee Health Concerns.
