  1. Develop and maintain occupational health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  3. Collaborate with department heads and employees to identify safety concerns and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  4. Create and deliver safety training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
  5. Monitor and analyze workplace injury and illness statistics to identify trends and implement preventative measures.
  6. Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of workplace accidents and incidents, and develop corrective action plans.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in occupational health and safety.
  8. Serve as a resource and advisor to management and employees on all matters related to occupational health and safety.
  9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
  10. Communicate safety policies and procedures to employees and ensure compliance across all levels of the organization.
  11. Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in the event of a workplace emergency.
  12. Collaborate with external agencies, such as OSHA, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  13. Conduct risk assessments and recommend solutions to eliminate or reduce potential hazards in the workplace.
  14. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve safety performance.
  15. Participate in safety committees and meetings to discuss safety concerns and recommend solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Occupational Health And Safety Management.

  • Certified Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technologist (Ohst) Certification.

  • Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Compliance Standards.

  • Prior Experience In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
