  1. Program and set up computer-controlled machinery to manufacture precision parts for aircrafts.
  2. Operate machinery and monitor production processes to ensure quality and accuracy.
  3. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machinery or production process.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to make necessary adjustments to the program or machinery.

  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.
  8. Keep detailed records of production data and report any issues or concerns to management.
  9. Continuously monitor and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  10. Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies in precision engineering to enhance skills and knowledge.
  11. Train and mentor new team members on operating computer-controlled machinery.
  12. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and efficient production.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Skills: A Numerically Controlled Operator At Boeing Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Computer Numerical Control (Cnc) Programming, As Well As The Ability To Read And Interpret Engineering Drawings And Specifications.

  • Experience With Precision Tools And Equipment: This Role Requires Experience Operating And Maintaining Precision Tools And Equipment Such As Lathes, Mills, And Grinders, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (Gd&T).

  • Knowledge Of Aerospace Industry Standards: Boeing Is A Leader In The Aerospace Industry, So A Strong Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Is Essential For A Numerically Controlled Operator. This Includes Knowledge Of As9100, Iso 9001, And Other Relevant Quality Management Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: Precision And Accuracy Are Critical In Aerospace Manufacturing, And A Numerically Controlled Operator Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Parts And Components Are Manufactured To The Highest Standards.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: In This Role, Unexpected Issues May Arise During The Manufacturing Process, And A Numerically Controlled Operator Must Be Able To Quickly Troubleshoot And Find Solutions To Keep Production Running Smoothly. Strong Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
