  1. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on various aircraft components and structures using established methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
  2. Interpret and evaluate testing results to identify any potential defects or discrepancies in the aircraft.
  3. Ensure that all NDT processes and procedures are followed accurately and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and engineers to troubleshoot any issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all testing activities and results.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  7. Continuously improve and develop new techniques and methods for NDT testing to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Communicate any findings, concerns, or recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing NDT inspections.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in NDT technology to ensure Boeing remains at the forefront of safety and quality standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Non-Destructive Testing (Ndt) Techniques: A Non-Destructive Test Inspector At Boeing Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Ndt Methods Such As X-Ray, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, And Liquid Penetrant Testing.

  • Certifications And Licenses: Boeing Typically Requires Ndt Inspectors To Hold A Valid Certification From Organizations Such As The American Society For Nondestructive Testing (Asnt) And The Federal Aviation Administration (Faa).

  • Experience In The Aerospace Industry: Previous Experience Working In The Aerospace Industry Is Highly Desirable For A Non-Destructive Test Inspector At Boeing. This Experience Should Include Working With Aircraft Structures, Components, And Materials.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role As Even The Smallest Defects Can Have Serious Consequences In The Aerospace Industry. A Non-Destructive Test Inspector Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Accurately Identify And Document Any Defects Found During Testing.
