- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for tooling systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and identify potential risks and challenges in implementing new tooling systems.
- Utilize advanced modeling and simulation techniques to optimize tooling performance and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation and technical specifications for tooling systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in model-based system engineering to continuously improve tooling processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of tooling systems to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for tooling systems during production.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling processes and increase efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on model-based system engineering principles and techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate tooling materials and components.
- Adhere to company standards and procedures for safety, quality, and compliance.
- Communicate regularly with project managers and team members to provide updates on tooling development progress.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on model-based system engineering for tooling systems.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Or Related Field.
Knowledge And Experience With Model Based System Engineering (Mbse) Tools Such As Doors, Cameo Systems Modeler, Or Magicdraw.
Understanding Of Systems Engineering Principles And Processes, Including Requirements Development, Verification And Validation, And Traceability.
Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Aerospace Systems, Such As Do-178C, Do-254, And Arp4754A.
