- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft components using various methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant testing.
- Perform visual inspections and interpret test results to determine the quality and integrity of aircraft components.
- Create detailed reports of test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all NDT procedures are followed according to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any quality issues.
- Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in NDT processes and suggest solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest NDT techniques and technologies to improve testing methods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while conducting NDT tests.
- Train and mentor junior NDT technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other quality control departments to ensure overall product quality.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all NDT tests and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on ways to improve overall product quality.
- Comply with company policies and regulations at all times.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Non-Destructive Testing (Ndt) Techniques, Such As Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, And Liquid Penetrant Testing.
A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.
Extensive Knowledge Of Ndt Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Asnt Snt-Tc-1A, Nas-410, And Astm E1444.
Strong Understanding Of Quality Control And Assurance Principles, Including Statistical Process Control And Root Cause Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team To Identify And Resolve Quality Issues.
