- Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for Boeing facilities in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of existing HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with HVAC equipment.
- Collaborate with other facilities engineers and cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-effective solutions for improving HVAC systems.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in HVAC systems and make recommendations for their integration into Boeing facilities.
- Create and maintain accurate records and documentation of all HVAC systems, including maintenance schedules and repair logs.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other members of the facilities engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Monitor energy consumption and make recommendations for energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs.
- Conduct research and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact of new HVAC systems on Boeing facilities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on HVAC system design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for HVAC system installations and repairs.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HVAC systems.
- Communicate with management and stakeholders on the status of HVAC systems and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while performing job duties.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Design And Maintenance Of Hvac Systems In A Large-Scale Industrial Or Commercial Setting.
Knowledge And Proficiency In Industry-Standard Design Software Such As Autocad And Revit.
Familiarity With Relevant Codes And Standards, Including Ashrae, Nfpa, And Local Building Codes.
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Hvac Issues And Propose Innovative Solutions.
