  1. Oversee and manage the entire materials management process for the company, ensuring timely and efficient flow of materials throughout the production process.
  2. Review and analyze inventory levels to determine necessary materials and supplies to maintain optimal levels.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast materials requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.
  4. Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials at the best possible price.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent and reliable supply of materials.
  6. Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track and monitor materials usage, stock levels, and replenishment needs.
  7. Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement and cost reduction.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to materials management.
  9. Train and supervise materials management staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  10. Continuously seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement in the materials management process.
  11. Communicate regularly with production and other departments to ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
  12. Assist in the development and maintenance of budget and cost control measures for materials management.
  13. Anticipate and proactively address any potential supply chain issues or delays that may impact production.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in materials management.
  15. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all materials transactions and inventory levels.
  16. Act as a liaison between suppliers, production, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns related to materials.
  17. Ensure materials are handled and stored in a safe and organized manner.
  18. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to materials handling and storage.
  19. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input and recommendations on materials-related matters.
  20. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the materials management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Materials Management, Procurement, Or Inventory Control.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry-Specific Materials Management Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Familiarity With Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Related To Materials Management, Such As Itar And Ear Regulations.
