- Develop and implement innovative materials and processes for Boeing aircrafts that meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential materials and processes for use in aircraft production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers and production technicians, to ensure seamless integration of materials and processes into aircraft production.
- Utilize engineering principles and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to materials and processes.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in materials and processes to continuously improve Boeing's products and processes.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of materials and processes, including specifications, procedures, and test results.
- Conduct testing and analysis of materials and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and qualify new materials and processes for use in Boeing's aircrafts.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on materials and processes, as needed.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines in all materials and process development and testing activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to provide updates on project progress and any issues that may arise.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize materials and processes and drive efficiency in aircraft production.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Boeing in a positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Materials And Process Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry
Proficient In Materials Testing And Analysis Techniques, Such As Metallography, Mechanical Testing, And Failure Analysis
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Materials And Processes, Such As Astm, Asme, And Faa Requirements
Experience With Various Materials Used In Aircraft Manufacturing, Including Composites, Metals, And Adhesives, And Their Properties And Processing Techniques.
