- Develop and implement efficient and effective assembly and installation processes for aircraft components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review and provide feedback on new aircraft designs, identifying potential manufacturing challenges and proposing solutions.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of assembly and installation processes to ensure quality standards are met and make necessary improvements.
- Train and mentor production staff on proper assembly and installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Analyze manufacturing data and identify areas for improvement in productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices in assembly and installation processes, incorporating new technology and techniques into manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions for assembly and installation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues related to assembly and installation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing equipment and tooling, ensuring they meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Communicate regularly with management and other team members to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Assembly And Installation Processes In A Manufacturing Environment, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes, Including Assembly Techniques, Materials, And Equipment.
Proficiency In Cad/Cam Software And Experience With 3D Modeling And Simulation.
Familiarity With Lean Manufacturing Principles And Continuous Improvement Methodologies.
