  1. Develop and implement automated processes and tools for the DevSecOps lifecycle.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps engineers in the design and implementation of automation solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  4. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in DevSecOps automation tools and techniques.
  5. Drive continuous improvement in the automation process and identify areas for optimization and efficiency.
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to automation processes and tools.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and procedures.
  9. Communicate progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.
  10. Collaborate with software development teams to integrate automation into the development process.
  11. Train and onboard new team members on automation processes and tools.
  12. Participate in meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
  13. Ensure timely delivery of quality automation solutions within established deadlines.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automation processes and tools, and make recommendations for improvements.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for DevSecOps automation within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Devsecops Automation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Devsecops Automation Processes And Tools.

  • Strong Understanding Of Security And Compliance: A Lead Devsecops Automation Engineer At Boeing Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Security Principles And Be Able To Ensure Compliance With Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Proficiency In Scripting And Coding Languages: The Role Requires Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Python, Perl, And Bash, As Well As Coding Languages Such As Java, C++, And .Net.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Cloud Technologies, Including Infrastructure As Code, Microservices, And Containerization, And Be Able To Design And Implement Secure Devsecops Processes In A Cloud Environment.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Lead Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Mentor And Guide A Team Of Engineers In Implementing Devsecops Practices And Tools. Excellent Communication And Project Management Skills Are Also Essential For Effectively Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.
