Integrated Product Team Leader - B-52 RMP Avionics IPT Lead

- Lead and manage the B-52 RMP Avionics IPT team to ensure successful development and integration of avionics systems for the B-52 bomber aircraft.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for avionics system development and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of avionics systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures related to avionics systems.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of avionics systems, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide guidance and feedback to team members to promote individual and team growth.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to upper management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and advances in avionics technology to inform decision-making and improve processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.

Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: As An Integrated Product Team Leader For The B-52 Rmp Avionics Ipt At Boeing, A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles Is Essential. A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field Demonstrates A Solid Understanding Of Technical Concepts And The Ability To Apply Them In A Leadership Role.
Previous Experience In Avionics Systems Integration: The B-52 Rmp Avionics Ipt Lead Is Responsible For Overseeing The Integration Of Avionics Systems On The B-52 Aircraft. Therefore, Previous Experience In Avionics Systems Integration Is A Key Qualification For This Position. This May Include Experience In System Design, Testing, And Certification.
Project Management Skills: As An Ipt Lead, The Ability To Manage Complex Projects And Teams Is Crucial. A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Project Management Principles, Including Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, And Risk Management. Experience With Project Management Tools And Software Is Also Desirable.
Leadership And Communication Skills: The Ipt Lead Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Engineers And Collaborating With Other Departments And Stakeholders. Knowledge Of B-52 Aircraft And Systems: In Order To Effectively Lead The B-52 Rmp Avionics Ipt, A Qualified Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of The B-52 Aircraft And Its Avionics Systems. This May Include Experience Working With B-52 Aircraft In A Previous Role Or Extensive Knowledge Of The Aircraft Gained Through Education Or Training Programs.
