- Develop and implement comprehensive security protocols and procedures to protect company facilities, assets, and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to industrial security.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security needs and implement effective strategies.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of security personnel.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide timely and accurate reports to management.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in industrial security to continuously improve and enhance company security measures.
- Maintain and update security clearance records for employees and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies, law enforcement, and other security professionals.
- Conduct investigations into security breaches or violations and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage and maintain security equipment, such as cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in the event of a security threat.
- Communicate security policies and procedures to all employees and contractors.
- Oversee the handling and protection of classified information and materials.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Security Management, Criminal Justice, Or Business Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Industrial Security, Preferably In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Government Security Regulations And Requirements, Such As Nispom, Dss, And Dod Security Guidelines.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With All Levels Of Personnel And Effectively Convey Security Policies And Procedures.
Active Top Secret Clearance With The Ability To Obtain And Maintain Access To Special Access Programs (Sap).
