- Design and develop innovative and cutting-edge flight decks for Boeing aircraft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of flight deck systems with other aircraft components.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify and solve complex design challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in flight deck technology to inform design decisions.
- Utilize knowledge of ergonomics to optimize the human-machine interface within the flight deck.
- Develop and evaluate design concepts, including mockups and prototypes, to ensure safety, functionality, and user-friendliness.
- Work closely with suppliers to select and integrate flight deck components and systems.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the design and development process.
- Collaborate with flight test engineers to support flight testing and validate design performance.
- Continuously seek to improve and streamline design processes and procedures.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and interns.
- Communicate project status and updates to team members and management.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Actively contribute to a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team and organization.
Bachelor's Degree In Aerospace Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-5 Years Of Experience In Aircraft Design Or Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Aerospace Industry Standards And Regulations.
Proficiency In Cad Software, Such As Catia Or Autocad.
Experience With Flight Deck Design And Integration, Including Cockpit Layout, Human Factors, And Systems Integration.
