  1. Manage the tool room and ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available for F/A-18 maintenance and repairs.
  2. Coordinate tooling activities for F/A-18 maintenance and repairs.
  3. Ensure all tools are properly maintained and calibrated according to industry standards.
  4. Utilize strong understanding of F/A-18 aircraft systems and components to effectively coordinate tooling activities.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory of all tools and equipment in the tool room.
  6. Work closely with maintenance teams to determine tooling needs and ensure timely availability of necessary tools and equipment.
  7. Develop and implement processes and procedures for tool room management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Train and supervise tool room staff to ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  9. Monitor tool room budget and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  10. Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any tooling issues or concerns.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in tooling technology.
  13. Communicate and coordinate with external vendors for tooling purchases, repairs, and maintenance.
  14. Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams on proper use and maintenance of tools.
  15. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for the F/A-18 program through the efficient and effective management of the tool room.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Tool Room Coordinator Role, Preferably Within The Aerospace Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of F/A-18 Aircraft And Associated Tooling, Including Proper Storage And Maintenance Procedures.

  • Strong Organizational Skills With The Ability To Manage A Large Inventory Of Tools And Equipment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Team Members, Engineers, And Other Stakeholders.

  • Proficiency In Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Excel And Inventory Management Systems.
