- Manage and maintain all equipment and tools used in the production process.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or tool malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment and tool performance.
- Work closely with production teams to identify any equipment or tool needs and provide timely support.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to improve equipment and tool designs for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Keep accurate records of equipment and tool maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Monitor inventory levels of equipment and tools and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replacements or new purchases.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and tools to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in equipment and tool technology.
- Train and mentor new employees on equipment and tool operation and maintenance procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Aerospace Engineering: The Role Of An Equipment & Tool Engineer At Boeing Requires A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles. A Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Or Aerospace Engineering Provides The Necessary Theoretical Knowledge And Practical Skills To Excel In This Role.
Minimum 3 Years Of Experience In A Related Field: A Qualified Equipment & Tool Engineer At Boeing Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Related Field, Such As Equipment Design, Tooling Development, Or Manufacturing Engineering. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Industry Standards And Practices.
Familiarity With Cad Software: Boeing Relies Heavily On Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software For Equipment And Tool Design. An Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience With Popular Cad Software, Such As Catia, Solidworks, Or Autocad.
Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes: As An Equipment & Tool Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing Tools And Equipment For Manufacturing Processes. A Strong Understanding Of Various Manufacturing Processes, Such As Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, And Composites, Is Critical For This Role.
