  1. Conduct research and analysis in the field of electromagnetics to develop innovative solutions for aerospace technology.
  2. Lead and manage research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting findings.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
  4. Stay up-to-date with advancements in electromagnetics technology and apply them to enhance Boeing's products.
  5. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Boeing's products and their applications in the aerospace industry.
  6. Identify and troubleshoot complex electromagnetics issues and provide feasible solutions.
  7. Create and maintain detailed documentation of research processes, findings, and recommendations.
  8. Communicate research findings and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Mentor and train junior engineers and physicists on electromagnetics principles and techniques.
  10. Contribute to the development of new procedures and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of research processes.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while conducting research and experiments.
  12. Represent Boeing at conferences, seminars, and other industry events to showcase our advancements in electromagnetics research.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Physics Or Electrical Engineering: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Physics Or Electrical Engineering Is Typically Required For A Lead Or Senior Electromagnetics Research Engineer/Physicist Position At Boeing. A Phd Is Preferred.

  • Extensive Experience In Electromagnetics: Candidates Should Have A Strong Background In Electromagnetics, Including Experience With Electromagnetic Theory, Computational Electromagnetics, And Electromagnetic Modeling And Simulation.

  • Proficiency In Software Tools: Proficiency In Electromagnetic Simulation Software, Such As Ansys Hfss Or Cst Studio Suite, Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Also Have Experience With Other Software Tools Commonly Used In Electromagnetics Research, Such As Matlab And Python.

  • Research And Publication Record: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Conducting Original Research In The Field Of Electromagnetics, As Demonstrated By Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals And Conference Proceedings.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Lead Or Senior Research Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Manage Projects And Lead A Team Of Engineers And Scientists. Therefore, Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Prioritize Tasks, Are Essential For This Role.
