  1. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with disability laws and regulations.
  2. Collaborate with HR and management teams to identify and assess accommodations for employees with disabilities.
  3. Act as a liaison between the company and employees with disabilities to facilitate open communication and understanding.
  4. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the functional limitations and needs of employees with disabilities.
  5. Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on the interactive process for accommodation requests.
  6. Review medical documentation and work with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate accommodations.
  7. Monitor and track accommodation requests to ensure timely resolution and compliance.
  8. Stay up-to-date with disability laws and regulations and make recommendations for policy and procedure updates as needed.
  9. Provide training and education to employees and managers on disability awareness and accommodation processes.
  10. Collaborate with external resources, such as disability organizations and vocational rehabilitation services, to provide additional support for employees with disabilities.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when handling confidential employee information.
  12. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the company by promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for employees with disabilities.
  13. Participate in disability-related committees and meetings to provide expertise and guidance.
  14. Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding disability-related questions and concerns.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve disability management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Occupational Therapy, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Disability Management, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Disability Regulations, Including Ada, Fmla, And Workers' Compensation Laws.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Individuals With Disabilities, Their Families, And Healthcare Providers.

  • Certification In Disability Management From A Recognized Organization, Such As The Certified Disability Management Specialist (Cdms) Or The Certified Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist (Cors).
