  1. Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect the company's information assets.
  2. Monitor and maintain the security of all information systems, networks, and applications.
  3. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security threats.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems and applications are designed and configured with appropriate security controls.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve the company's security posture.
  6. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  7. Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and reporting findings to management.
  8. Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and raise awareness about potential risks.
  9. Serve as the main point of contact for cybersecurity-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to other departments.
  10. Actively participate in security audits and assessments, both internal and external, to ensure compliance with security requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Certification: A Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Role. In Addition, Candidates Should Possess Industry Certifications Such As Cissp (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Or Cism (Certified Information Security Manager).

  • Experience In Cybersecurity: Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Cybersecurity, With A Focus On Information System Security. This Includes Experience With Risk Management, Threat Assessment, Vulnerability Management, And Incident Response.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Standards Related To Cybersecurity, Such As Nist (National Institute Of Standards And Technology) Guidelines And The Federal Information Security Management Act (Fisma).

  • Technical Skills: Candidates Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Network Security, Cryptography, And Secure Coding Practices. Proficiency In Using Security Tools And Technologies Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Scanners Is Also Important.

  • Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Key Member Of The Cybersecurity Team, The Information System Security Officer (Isso) Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Other Team Members And Communicate Complex Security Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders. Strong Leadership Skills Are Also Essential For Managing And Guiding The Security Team And Implementing Security Policies And Procedures.
