- Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to move materials and equipment within the production facilities with the utmost precision and care.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all cranes and equipment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to prioritize and fulfill material handling requests in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure the smooth and safe movement of materials and equipment.
- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines, working efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of all materials and equipment moved, as well as any incidents or issues that may arise.
- Continuously monitor and assess work areas for potential hazards, taking necessary precautions to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Act as a role model for safety, following all safety protocols and encouraging others to do the same.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments related to crane operation, and make recommendations for improvements to processes and procedures.
Valid Crane Operator Certification: A Crane Operator Hooktender Must Possess A Valid And Up-To-Date Certification As A Crane Operator. This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Safely Operate A Crane In Various Work Environments.
Physical Fitness: This Job Requires A Significant Amount Of Physical Activity, Including Standing, Climbing, And Lifting Heavy Objects. Therefore, A Crane Operator Hooktender Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Without Limitations.
Experience With Crane Operations: Previous Experience Operating Cranes Is Highly Preferred For This Position. Candidates Should Have A Demonstrated Understanding Of Crane Operations, Including Rigging, Load Calculations, And Safety Protocols.
