- Conduct research and analysis on materials and processes used in aircraft design and manufacturing.
- Collaborate with other engineers and scientists to develop and evaluate new materials and processes.
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments to determine the properties and behaviors of materials.
- Create and maintain databases and records to document material properties and specifications.
- Identify potential issues or risks related to materials and processes, and develop solutions to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the reliability and safety of materials and processes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and trends in materials and processes.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and management.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on material selection and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure the use of high-quality and cost-effective materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to materials and processes during the manufacturing and assembly process.

Bachelor's Degree In Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Materials And Processes Engineering, Preferably In The Aerospace Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Materials Characterization Techniques, Such As Microscopy, Spectroscopy, And Mechanical Testing.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Astm, Asme, And Faa.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
