Laboratory Operations Specialist

Executes routine procedures, in an independent and efficient manner, associated with standard, specialized and custom reagents and reference standards, as well as study sample inventory management including physical receipt and organized storage, electronic tracking, monitoring, and discrepancy resolution. Fulfills reagent and reference standard dispensing requests, ensuring appropriate inventory controls, and accurate and timely delivery of materials to analysts. Completes internal shipping documentation and applications for new and renewed USDA and CDC permits for shipping and clearance of standard reference and viral materials in support of development projects. May be assigned additional tasks (e.g., equipment maintenance, ordering) as a primary responsibility under the direction of DMPK Management and/or to support the DMPK Operations team.
